We’re thrilled to announce our Go Wild – Grow Wild activities running throughout the Easter holidays!
This new spring event combines traditional Easter activities, with outdoor educational play and seasonal home-made treats bringing families together for a great day out. In the potting shed barn, children can make an air-dried clay plant pot to fill with soil and wild flower seeds donated by Kew Gardens, ‘Grow Wild’ project.
Supported by the Big Lottery Fund, Grow Wild is the UK’s biggest-ever wild flower campaign bringing people together to transform local spaces with native, pollinator-friendly wild flowers and plants. Wild flower seeds donated by Kew Gardens will be planted by the Farrington’s team to create a new wild flower bank and pond area which will spring to life later in the year allowing visitors to enjoy for years to come.
Admission is just £5 per child and includes FREE entry to Cowtastic Farm Park and animal trail with baby animals to get up close with, pot making, seed planting and a fun Easter Trail with chocolate prize and tractor and trailer ride. (Note entry to Farm Park and trailer ride is weather permitting).
Go Wild – Grow Wild takes place at Farrington’s Farm Shop from 10am – 3pm daily, between Saturday 8th to Sunday 23rd April. (Closed Easter Sunday).
