We’re incredibly lucky to have such a lovely setting around us. We’re nestled between rolling fields and beautiful countryside, so we really feel a responsibility to give back to the environment.
HELPING THE WILDLIFE AND THE ENVIRONMENT AT FARRINGTON'S
In 2002 we planted a 10-acre woodland for the wildlife around us. It’s made up of plenty of different tree species such as Beech, Oak and Silver Birch and has attracted an abundance of wildlife.
Today, there are 44 bird species and over 12 species of butterflies and moths. We sow thousands of wildflower seeds, which not only look pretty, but serve an important purpose! These blooming flowers attract pollinating insects, which in turn support the growth of our crops by facilitating pollination.
