Whether it’s racing down our wavy slides or carefully treading across the rope skywalks, the Playbarn has it all to keep your family entertained for hours. The Playbarn Café serves a delicious range of homemade snacks, meals and drinks to keep you going throughout the day.
Based in Farrington's Farm, Farrington Gurney, halfway between Bristol and Bath.
INDOOR SOFT PLAY
Our large soft play structure is made up of three fun-packed levels that will tire out even the toughest adventurer. There’s a huge multi-lane slide and a high drop slide, as well as ball pits, tunnels, climb towers and rope sky walks - all designed to test your strength, balance and coordination.
Suitable for children up to 12 years old.
BABY AREA
This section of our soft play area has plenty of space for you to stay and play by your child’s side. The section is completely padded, so there’s a soft landing for those practising getting around. The mini space hopper animals are great for role play and tummy time too.
Suitable for children 0-2 years old.
TODDLER AREA
Split over two levels, this soft play area keeps the most energetic toddlers entertained. There’s a slide, ball pit and plenty of other obstacles for your toddlers to tackle. All while you take a seat on one of the many picnic benches and enjoy a coffee from the Playbarn café.
Suitable for children aged between 2 to 4 years.
MINI FARRINGTON'S
Whether you would like to go shopping in our mini farm shop or make a cake in our mini cake kitchen, there is plenty to keep your little ones entertained while you sit back and enjoy a coffee. Our role play houses are perfect to let your tots imagination run wild.
Suitable for pre-school children.
PLAYBARN CAFE
All that running around will certainly make your stomach rumble. And the homemade food from the café is the best way to reenergise for round two in the Playbarn. From light bites to filling lunches, the café serves a wide range of food. All of course made with locally sourced and homegrown produce.

Monday - Saturday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Sunday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
Please note that you don't need to book to visit the Playbarn but during busy times we may have to enforce a time limit to manage capacity and ensure everyone gets playtime!
THE PLAYBARN CAFÉ
The Playbarn Café serves delicious homemade meals from breakfast through until tea time, so you never need to panic if hunger strikes... You can rely on getting a proper coffee when caffeine is required, and we always have a mouth-watering selection of handmade sweet treats to snack on!

FISH & CHIP FRIDAYS
Visit the Playbarn after school on a Friday and you can order from our Fish & Chip Shop menu!
Your food boxes will be delivered to your table while the kids are playing.
DAILY DRESS UP
Let their minds run free with imagination! We have lots of outfits available to play dress up while playing in the Playbarn.
Available weekdays during term time, on the pegs by the toilets.
AFTER SCHOOL TREAT
Treat your little ones to a FREE Whippy ice cream with any hot kids meal purchased in our Playbarn from 3pm Monday-Friday
ANNUAL PASSES
Our annual pass gives you UNLIMITED entry into our Playbarn for a whole year, giving you the freedom to play at Farrington's whenever you like. Pop into the Playbarn to sign up.

WEDNESDAY CRAFTS
Every Wednesday we offer a fun little crafts session in our Playbarn, free with Playbarn entry.
Whether it be card-making for a special occasion, or colouring a lovely design for the fridge - it's a time to let the creative juices flow!
SCHOOL DISCOUNT
Children of Farrington Gurney Primary School receive 50% off entry after school during term time. Each child must be wearing Farrington Gurney school uniform to be eligible for the discount.

Choose from one of the two party packages and we’ll do all the hard work for you, which means you get more time to celebrate.
All parties are two hours long, split between play time in the Playbarn then food and birthday cake in the party room.
